He requested moving the superintendent’s budget message from May 4 to May 18, rescheduling the budget‑committee review and setting June 1 for committee action with June 3 reserved if a second meeting were needed. Staff emphasized they aim to maintain the June 15 final adoption date.
A motion to approve the amended calendar was moved, seconded and adopted by the board. Dr. Hughes said staff will immediately publish the calendar changes and notify the budget committee.
