During the public comments period, Bob Cook of C Wave Co. told the Board his contract with the Butler County Landfill was cancelled and was advised to contact Public Works Director Curtis Mader to discuss the matter. The Board did not take action during the meeting but directed Mr. Cook to meet with Public Works staff to resolve questions about the cancellation.
Amanda McGee, representing Butler County, invited commissioners to attend a Town Hall that evening at the Oil Museum in El Dorado to discuss data centers. Administrator Will Johnson later referenced a separate overview of his recent visit to an Amazon data center in Atlanta and said his presentation is available on the County website.
