Council asks engineer to update procurement thresholds as HB 2420 is monitored

Council reviewed the Town Procurement Policy and suggested increasing the dollar amounts in Section 3 (Delegation of Purchasing Authority) and Section 4 (Purchases of Equipment, Materials, Supplies or Purchased Services) to reflect rising costs.
Town Engineer Schroeder will revise Sections 3 and 4 to implement Council’s recommended changes and to incorporate any required updates if HB 2420 is enacted. Council will review the revised Procurement Policy at its April meeting for potential adoption.
