Town Engineer/Planner Stacia Schroeder presented two bids for this year's stormwater cleaning and camera work: Drain Pro at $13,400.32 and Pro‑Vac at $20,273.02, and recommended awarding the work to Drain Pro.
Clerk/Treasurer Sue Ann Spens stated, "We budgeted $15,000 this year for this work and were awarded $19,350 in King County stormwater grant money, which more than covers the cost of the work." Councilmember Brad Wheeler moved to authorize the expenditure of $15,000 and to authorize the Mayor to sign one or more work orders; Councilmember James McCarthy seconded. Vote: 5 For, 0 Against, 0 Abstain.
The Council authorized the Mayor to execute work orders totaling $15,000 so the Town Engineer can add small catch‑basin repairs as needed. The action aligns with the 2025 budget and the awarded grant funding.
