Butler County accepted a bid from Dustrol Inc. for $219,810.03 to perform the County's 2026 asphalt milling program. Public Works Director Curtis Mader explained that profiling the road by milling is the most cost-effective way to square up a road before paving and will be used on NW 30th St., the truck route, and SW Butler Rd. from SW 240th St. to SW 190th St.
Staff reported they received only one bid for the program. Commissioner Kelly Herzet moved to approve the Dustrol bid and Commissioner Jeff Masterson seconded; the motion carried 5-0.
