Council reappoints parks commissioners; budget committee hearing scheduled for April 21

The council approved a slate of candidates for reappointment to the parks commission; staff said the applicants were incumbents in good standing and council policy permits reappointment without a new interview in many cases. A motion to approve the slate was moved and seconded and carried by voice vote.
Staff also reminded council members that the budget committee hearing will be April 21 (between the two April council meetings) and that the city offers dinner and dessert at the budget meeting as an incentive for attendance. Council members were asked to save the date and plan for participation in the budget hearing process.
