Commissioners approve $7.65M two-year extension for Tyler Technologies Odyssey services

The court approved a second two-year extension covering 05/01/2026 through 04/30/2028 at a total cost of $7,650,861.63.
Staff explained the cost breakdown across the two fiscal years and noted that the contract includes a 5% price escalator allowable year-over-year. The county is also engaging with Tyler on negotiating a follow-on agreement that would include updated service-level agreements and potentially more favorable pricing.
Commissioners approved the contract extension on a voice vote; staff said they will continue negotiations and seek improved SLAs for any future renewal. The extension will allow continued use of the Odyssey suite across sheriff, courts, juvenile probation, and related county functions while the county negotiates longer-term terms.
