Ben Carter, general manager of Falconhead Golf Club (Falconhead GC LLC), spoke during the citizen comment period to request guidance about Bee Cave's noise ordinance and how it applies to operations adjacent to residential neighborhoods.
"We bring in around 60,000 golf rounds a year," Carter said, describing the course's role as a regional destination that also supports local businesses. He asked the council and staff for clarity on city code 14.06.006, describing efforts the club has made to work with bordering homeowners on tree removal and maintenance but saying past accommodations "didn't work out" and requesting staff advice or possible subcommittee review. Mayor King offered to schedule a meeting with city staff to discuss the issue further rather than deliberating during the public comment period.
Carter asked the council to clarify bid processes and documentation for another matter as well; the mayor reiterated that no deliberation would occur during citizen comments but offered a staff meeting to follow up.
