Following the staff explanation, a council member moved to approve Ordinance No. 604, another council member seconded, and the motion passed unanimously.
The ordinance adoption makes the election returns official pending any post-canvas statutory remedies. The council did not receive public comment on the canvass during the meeting and took no further action beyond the formal vote.
