Local business owner urges council action after repeated neighborhood disturbances

Karen Randolph addressed the council during public comment and described a months‑long series of neighborhood problems she says have interfered with her business. She said a trash cart has sat in front of her front door for roughly two years and that she has reported multiple incidents of loud, sustained noise — including "9 times" of beating on walls and several door‑slamming events — which she said sometimes lasted from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. "I've been trying to get help to get this trash cart moved... I've sent messages to the police. I have sent messages to city council," Randolph said.
Randolph also described dogs at large, two reported dog bites on the opposite side of her property, and a prior court incident in which she said she was charged after defending herself; she said she provided videos and paperwork to the city. Mayor Bridal replied that the council is aware of many of the issues and that the information is with the police department. Randolph said she hopes the public comment brings renewed attention because the unresolved situation is threatening one of her businesses.
