The City of Cody Planning and Zoning and Adjustment Board approved a sign review for Real Estate Outlaws at 913 Sheridan Avenue at its April 16 meeting. Carla moved to approve the sign as proposed in the staff report, including conditions and the accompanying resolution; the motion was seconded and passed.
Planning staff Jenny told the board the applicant proposed a 3-by-2-foot externally illuminated freestanding sign with an overall height of 9 feet and provided lighting specifications that comply with city sign and lighting standards. "A building and electrical permit will be required for the sign before it can be installed," Jenny said, and she noted that since the staff report was published, YDOT confirmed it will not require a permit for the sign.
Board members confirmed the sign placement and illustrations in the packet matched the proposed location and that the resolution included the findings and conditions; the board approved the item as presented and subject to the signed resolution of findings.
