Cedar Park planning commission honors Cindy Snead and welcomes Sarah Groff

The Cedar Park Planning and Zoning Commission honored outgoing commissioner Cindy Snead and welcomed new commissioner Sarah Groff during its April 21 meeting. Amy Lang of Development Services introduced the recognition, saying the commission wanted to "say thank you for your service" and present a small token of appreciation for Snead’s nearly five years on the commission in roles including secretary and vice chair.
Snead responded, "Thank you, staff. Thank you, commissioners. It's it was awesome getting to know you all, and I love working with the city," and commissioners exchanged personal remarks. The Chair also acknowledged the recent passing of longtime community member Bob Ingram: "I want to acknowledge with sadness the recent passing of ... Bob Ingram. Bob contributed to our city in his own unique and special way and his presence will be missed," and the commission observed a moment of silence. New commissioner Sarah Groff offered brief remarks about joining the dais and looked forward to future deliberations.
