"Gresham had diagrammed out that NorthStar model at the cost of 50 some odd million," a staff presenter said, noting the study lacked the detailed station-by-station composition needed to compare what each option would actually buy in terms of service. Staff will supply a diagram showing proposed station composition (for example, hypothetical Station 77 in Wood Village) and expected staffing so councilors and the public can compare costs and outcomes.
Councilors discussed contracting permutations (contracting with District 10, joining an existing district, or forming a new district), potential annexation votes, and the timeline for decision-making. The council asked staff and partners to return with more detailed cost and service comparisons later in the year; no final action was taken tonight.
