I hope that was just an oversight on the part of development services because if others were looking for the Auburn Ridge on the agenda, they would have missed it,” Simmons said.
Other commenters returned to concerns about the UDO rewrite, arguing the changes could limit competition and force established businesses to seek special exceptions to expand. Anthony Gary suggested using common or colloquial project names on agendas to help public awareness. Councilors acknowledged the point and agreed staff should consider clearer labeling for colloquial project names on future agendas.
