Landmark Fabrication named Decatur EDC Business of the Month; mayor issues proclamation

A company representative said Landmark has fabricated more than 1,000 elevated tanks nationwide over 40 years and currently employs about 80 people at the Decatur fabrication facility. Mayor Mike McQuiston read a proclamation noting the company’s local investments and contributions to the community and designated April 13 as Landmark Fabrication Day in Decatur. A company plaque was presented to the mayor in thanks.
Council members and staff thanked Landmark for its local economic role and for presenting a plaque; the recognition was ceremonial and required no council action.
