NSF to fund programmable cloud labs, data infrastructure for Genesys research

Actually, it's probably well over $400,000,000 by the time we're finished," the NSF official said, and added that NSF will also commit about $80,000,000 in infrastructure and more than $100,000,000 for datasets intended to be data-ready for AI research. The official framed these investments as foundational: shared hardware and datasets that accelerate discovery across disciplines.
