Mayor Pro Tem Eric Boyce read a proclamation declaring April 5, 2026, as Easter Sunday in Cedar Park and said the proclamation recognizes "the Christian community’s steadfast commitment to service" across local churches and ministries.
The invocation and blessings that followed emphasized local women who shaped the city and called on council to draw on that legacy during city business. The agenda then proceeded to recognitions and the regular business items for the evening.
