Citizen Advisory Committee presents year‑long review to school board

Margo Densing, chair of the Citizen Advisory Committee, presented the CAC's annual summary to the board, outlining monthly meetings that included guardians and eight high school students. "We are here tonight to submit a summary of the CAC's activities of the past year," Densing said, noting topics such as the CCPS budget, grading policy, college and career readiness, MTSS and the Panorama screener.
Student member Michael Bowles described the experience as educational and urged continuation of student participation: "It really allows us students to understand how the system works." Board members thanked the CAC for its collaboration and staff support and said they value the student voice in district deliberations.
