Euless council approves consent agenda including multiple contract renewals and interlocal agreement

Assistant City Manager Lawrence Bryant read the consent agenda items for the council, which included renewal of bid No. 010-23 for annual mowing maintenance with Smith Lawn & Tree; renewal of bid No. 004-24 for ready-mix concrete with Cowtown Concrete; authorization to execute a contract with Athletica Sports Systems Inc. for replacement of perimeter glass and impact boards at the Dallas Star Center; authorization for roof repairs at SRM headquarters through NextGen Construction via the interlocal purchasing system; an interlocal agreement with Tarrant County for asphalt overlay improvements; approval of Resolution No. 262099 to meet match contribution requirements for the Tarrant County HOME Investment Partnerships program year 2026; and approval of the minutes of the April 28, 2026 regular meeting.
A council member moved to approve the consent agenda, a second was recorded, and the council voted to approve the consent items unanimously. The mayor then opened the public comment period and noted there were no speakers signed up.
