The Euless City Council approved a site plan for the US Center at 400 East Glade Road, a 7,200-square-foot retail building on a pad site adjacent to existing commercial development. Reagan Rothenberger, director of planning and development, described the project as "effectively filling in the pad site with a 7,200 square foot retail building" and presented the landscape, facade and photometric plans for council review.
Rothenberger said the plans were certified by the development services group and had been recommended for approval by the planning and zoning commission. Council Member Jeremy Tompkins moved for approval and Council Member Eads seconded; the motion passed. Staff noted a portion of the development and infrastructure already exists on the site and that the project's zoning (C-2) is consistent with the planned use.
