Council moves forward on multiple small easements and Avery Road shared‑use path project

City engineering staff asked council to approve a set of small property acquisitions that will allow construction of shared‑use paths to improve connectivity across Dublin. Brian Gable told council the ordinances before them provide for conveyance documents and easements from multiple property owners and that staff have reached mutually agreeable terms.
On the Avery Road shared use path, Gable said the project will build a path on the west side of Avery Road to connect two existing segments and fill "one of the last shared use path gaps along Avery Road." Staff recommended adoption of the relevant ordinances at the second reading public hearing scheduled for March 23, 2026.
