City manager outlines Hughes Road, Moore’s Addition drainage, HSIP and federal bayou work

The manager said a $110,000 administrative‑support proposal was under consideration to handle federal compliance and procurement workload (not part of the local match).
The manager said engineers from Hewitt‑Zollars will attend the March 24 council meeting for a more detailed briefing on Hughes Road and Moore’s Addition and reiterated that county cooperation had preserved grant matches the city could not otherwise afford.
