"That is what, our all in cost out of pocket will be roughly 50,000," Funk said when describing the DEDC’s near‑term fiscal commitment.
Funk said the DEDC would sell back the land to the developer at a modest premium relative to original purchase price and estimated a combined transaction and improvements figure of roughly $120,000. He also described a plan to have the city’s public works department construct the roadway work in‑house with third‑party inspection, saying it was intended both to save cost and to give public works experience on road projects. The applicant was not present for a formal presentation; the board adjourned the public hearing after staff comments and no public speakers were recorded.
