Nicole Roberts, executive director of special education, said remote homebound would be used when students must be confined to home or hospital for four or more weeks and all other homebound requirements are met except face-to-face instruction. She told trustees the ARD committee will document eligibility and ensure all other homebound requirements remain in place.
Trustees made the motion and seconded it; the vote to approve submitting the waiver was unanimous.
