The City of Cody council approved task order 26-01 with Bowen Collins & Associates to continue the city's wastewater collection and treatment master-plan work. Philip Bowman told council the master plan was originally budgeted in FY25 at $350,000 and that this phase carries a not-to-exceed fee of $119,417; combined with the first-phase task order, that brings the total under contract with Bowen Collins to $214,152, which Bowman said remains within the city's estimated budget.
Bowen Collins will complete the capital improvement plan and prepare a final wastewater master-plan report; staff also plans a later task order for a rate study and revenue analysis. Council asked about phase 3 costs; Bowman had no firm number but suggested the phase might be in the roughly $50,000 range based on similar work. The council approved the task order by voice vote.
