Board members were briefed on several equipment and facility items. A used ladder truck recently entered service and training for personnel is scheduled in April and May. "The new used ladder truck is in service and fully operational and already been on some runs," a member said.
Members also heard that the Station 131 generator has been installed and is operational. On apparatus disposal, staff reported that a 2012 Pierce Sabre backup pumper developed frame damage and the pump later failed; because repairs would be very expensive, staff recommended selling it as scrap. The board voted to dispose of the engine as scrap to remove it from service.
