Committee schedules planning board interviews, to reauthorize Sugar Maple Festival agreement

Staff reported there are three applicants to fill a current vacancy on the planning board and no interviews have yet been conducted. The committee agreed to schedule interviews — possibly Thursday or Friday or before the upcoming Monday council meeting — so that an appointment can be made promptly.
“I will call the applicants and check their availability and let you know if we can,” Rob said, offering to coordinate the next steps. Staff also noted a routine reauthorization of the Sugar Maple Festival agreement will be introduced under new business this year with no substantive changes; the chair described the festival as having gone well though “not stellar.”
With no further business, the chair adjourned the meeting; a member moved and the committee noted the meeting had been productive.
