Following an executive session for legal and personnel matters, the Bee Cave City Council on April 28 voted unanimously to appoint Steven Pinsworn as the city’s Parks and Public Works director.
Ms. Oakley presented the city manager’s recommendation and said she would like the council to concur with the appointment. "I would like to make the recommendation to city council to appoint Steven Pinsworn as the new Parks and Public Works director," she said. Council then moved to concur; the motion was seconded and carried unanimously.
The appointment was taken after an executive session held under Texas Government Code §551.071 (consultation with attorney) and §551.074 (personnel). The council recorded the return from executive session and then took the appointment action on the public record.
