Planning commission unanimously forwards thoroughfare-plan update (Option 3) to city council
Summary
On a unanimous voice vote, the Bee Cave Planning & Zoning Commission recommended City Council adopt the updated thoroughfare plan (Option 3); the motion was moved by Commissioner Davis and seconded by Commissioner Tedder.
The Bee Cave Planning & Zoning Commission voted unanimously March 17 to recommend that City Council approve updates to the Bee Cave 2037 comprehensive plan amending the thoroughfare plan and advancing Option 3.
Commissioner Davis moved that the commission recommend council approval of the thoroughfare-plan update, and the motion was seconded; the chair announced a first by Commissioner Davis and a second by Commissioner Tedder before the commission voted "aye" on the motion. The chair declared the motion passed unanimously.
The action recorded at the meeting is a recommendation only; final adoption requires City Council review and vote. Staff said they will continue coordination with property owners, the school district, Travis County and TxDOT before materials are taken to council.
