Council approves resolution setting public hearing for Shirley Tract PID assessments

"Once the bonds are sold, the assessments are due on an annual basis, and it is whoever is owning that piece of property when the assessments come due," Cotton said, describing how the obligation transfers with property ownership in the same way as taxes and other assessments. The council voted to approve the resolution and related notices unanimously and directed staff to publish and mail required notices.
