Board members discussed next steps for strategic-plan development with consultant TipStrategy and the onboarding of the incoming executive director. Staff reported a follow-up meeting with the consultant was scheduled in the coming week and said it planned to return to the board in May with the output of that conversation. The chair said, to accommodate the new executive director's onboarding, the previously discussed follow-up retreat would likely be moved from June to early July.
"Our next step, we actually schedule a meeting with them. I believe that's either on Tuesday or Wednesday. We're gonna talk to them a little bit more about the onboarding for the executive director and some of the timelines... and then we're gonna come back, I'm hopefully, in May with the output of that conversation with our consultant," one staff speaker said. The board agreed to finalize timing after the new director begins and to use the consultant's input to set milestones and meeting schedules.
