Anya Pinton, assistant director of finance, presented the board with the February 2026 financial statements and highlighted key budget figures and variances. "We'll begin with the adopted budget. We're at $3,006,250 for our budget. We're currently at 37% of our year to date budget. Our current monthly actuals are $411,741 compared to last year's $375,508," Pinton said. She noted a matured certificate of deposit had driven higher interest revenue, with that CD yielding between 4.5% and 5%.
Pinton also reviewed expenditures and balance-sheet presentation: the DDC's operating expenditures budget was listed at $4,304,001; year-to-date spending stood at 7% of budget, and the current month expenditures were $53,420 (compared with $63,982 the prior year). She told the board the liabilities are presented as negatives in the financial system and invited questions; no further motions or actions were taken on the report during the meeting.
