The district selected Big Rock after interviewing multiple providers and cited reported outcomes at other districts where the vendor’s coaching model supported campus improvements.
Trustees asked how coaching time would be scheduled and whether principals would be pulled from campus; Dr. Bailey said most coaching is on campus and embedded in the work (coaches work alongside principals and teachers rather than removing principals from site duties). Trustee questions about dissemination and calibration were answered with plans to build leader capacity and dashboards to monitor campus performance.
A motion to approve the grant and contract was made, seconded and recorded; the motion passed unanimously.
