"We've got to follow the guidelines unless you want to go rogue and say we're not gonna participate," Kathy said, warning that rejecting federal nutrition requirements would jeopardize reimbursement. The board asked staff to continue gathering options and feedback from other districts and parent input before recommending any procurement changes.
