City staff told the board that Parkwood Drive — a two‑lane concrete street with parallel parking, sidewalks and landscaping — has reached roughly 95% construction completion. "The total construction cost is $2,992,012. It is currently 95%. The only thing that is missing currently is that we need the encore poles that are existing to be relocated so we can pour out the sidewalks," City Engineer Mara Quad said.
Staff estimated about 2 to 4 weeks for the pole relocation and said the contractor will return to pour sidewalk panels once poles are moved. No new funding was requested at the meeting; staff presented the timeline and images of the roadway as part of the project update.
