Several routine land‑use and record items were approved at second reading. Phil Hartman presented Ordinance 24‑26 to accept annexation of approximately 79.0 acres from Darby Township (Madison County) and Ordinance 25‑26 to accept annexation of approximately 146.9 acres from Washington Township (Franklin County); both ordinances were recommended by staff and adopted by roll call. Staff also thanked the Derryberry family for donating a 0.069‑acre easement (Ordinance 26‑26) to support the Avery Road sidewalk connections project; council adopted that ordinance as well.
The consent agenda — the minutes of April 13 and April 20 — was approved without removal. These items were routine and passed by roll call votes recorded by the clerk.
