On DORA hours, staff explained Ohio law ties the hours for both sales and walking within the DORA; staff said the proposed 11 p.m. end time aligns sales with event close and that enforcement problems have been minimal in past events. Council approved the extension.
On Independence Day ticketing, staff said headline entertainment costs total about $125,000 (down from $225,000 the prior year). Staff proposed that wristbands be sold to residents during an early window and then made $10 after July 1; non‑resident table prices for remaining inventory would increase to $250 (from $200) after July 1 to simplify verification and reduce staff workload. Council approved the ticket pricing changes and directed staff to proceed with communications.
