Developer says paving in October, lots to be available by November for Carriage Trails

Ken Conaway, representing Carriage Trails Company LLC, described sales efforts and the phasing approach for Section 20 Phase 1, saying the company split the new area to maintain momentum after selling previous lots. "We sold all the lots in Section 7," Conaway said, and added the developer plans to pave the first section in October so lots can be available in November.
Conaway said the current section represents about 50 acres of a larger 300-acre annexation that the developer and city previously contemplated, and he referenced a previously approved maximum of about 1,500 homes for the full annexed area. He told the commission he expects to return later this year or in January for approval of a detailed development plan for the next phase.
