On project business, the board approved a final negotiated professional engineering services agreement with HAPA and Associates for task completions tied to the Texas Water Development Board’s Lower Rio Grande Valley regional flood-protection planning (presentation began SEG 317). The board also accepted application payment requests across several projects, including a reimbursement submission totaling $1,000,004.85 from 0.5 and Associates Inc., which staff said is predominantly reimbursable with local participation estimated at about $430,000 shared with Cameron County. A series of construction-payment applications for contractors including Synergy Development & Construction, Constructs Enterprise, and Clore Equipment LLC were approved by voice vote.
District staff announced a forthcoming ribbon-cutting tied to recent project milestones and thanked commissioners for ongoing support. No roll-call tallies were recorded in the transcript; all motions noted in the session were approved by voice votes.
