The commission reviewed a subdivision view‑blocking determination for a 10‑lot parcel at 570 Reuben (Lomans Crossing Estates Section 1, Block G) and determined the proposed homes would not create unlawful view blocking. Staff said the ridge poles on the three submitted applications were all under the city’s 32‑foot height limit and that the property is zoned R‑1 and surrounded primarily by residential zoning.
“Those ridge poles that were installed…were under 32 feet,” staff reported, and the commission, after confirming there were no comments in the portal, voted 4–0 to determine this was not a view‑blocking issue. No public testimony was received during the hearing portion of the item.
