Staff described a spot-repair program the council approved earlier (roughly $8,000,000 in program funding) that will be released for bidding in smaller phases beginning mid-month.
On a larger project, staff said contractors had mobilized for work on a lift station site and were performing subsurface investigations to locate existing utilities ahead of placing the wet well; staff noted the main piping for that project was expected to arrive in mid-June. The staff update also included a note that TxDOT had recertified the Old Angleton bridge capacity, allowing city equipment to again use that crossing once signage is in place.
