Two residents addressed the council during the general public comment period.
Michael Shaw told the council he has an ongoing problem with an RV parked on his street for months that restricts his ability to maneuver and that prior enforcement attempts have not resolved the issue: "The guy beside me has been there for 4.5 months ... nothing's been done. You failed me," Shaw said. He urged the city to take action and said he will return until the situation is addressed.
Annette Limon praised the city's emergency response after a recent incident, saying personnel arrived within minutes and were compassionate and helpful. Limon also relayed concerns from a resident about youth vaping and asked for an update on a previously discussed moratorium to limit the opening of additional vape stores. "She's here to ask for your help ... she would like to know where she stands with the moratorium," Limon said.
