Following scheduled interviews the council moved to receive and file the applications introduced that day. Mayor Pro Tem Gomez made the motion to "receive and file today's applicants," the clerk called the vote and the transcript records, “Motion carried unanimously.”
Staff told the council that it could act on appointments at an upcoming meeting (March 16 or April 6), giving the body time to complete additional interviews and deliberations before making final selections.
