Commissioners approve ARPA budget items and appropriate $350,000 from opioid-abatement funds

“Item 18 a1, requesting approval of ARPA budget provisions as per exhibit a,” the budget director said; after a motion and second the court approved the item. The opioid fund appropriation and precinct road appropriation were likewise presented and approved by the commissioners.
Officials also approved changes to county pay assignments (adding public information officer pay limited to six slots) and other personnel-table adjustments tied to law-enforcement pay; county staff said these changes become effective upon commissioner approval.
