Hays County adopts multiple proclamations honoring youth poetry, dispatchers, CASA and animal advocates

Animal care proclamations recognized animal control officers and local animal advocates; Sherry Boyette and other advocates noted shelter overcapacity and urged increased promotion of adoption and fostering. Commissioners took the opportunity to thank local nonprofit partners, urge volunteer recruitment, and encourage public awareness of county services and events such as Take Back the Night at Texas State.
