David Schmidt elected chair of Price County Zoning Board; Thomas Frane named vice chair

David Schmidt was unanimously elected chair of the Price County Zoning Board of Adjustment at the board’s July 29, 2025 meeting in Phillips. The motion to cast a unanimous ballot for Schmidt was made by Thomas Frane and seconded by Margaret Novak; the motion carried.
The board also elected Thomas Frane as vice chair after nominations were called three times; a motion by Mark Brzeskiewicz and second by Mark Luoma to cast a unanimous ballot for Frane carried. Earlier in the session, the board approved the August 27, 2024 meeting minutes on a motion by Frane, seconded by Novak. The meeting was called to order at 9:00 a.m. by Schmidt and adjourned at 9:31 a.m.
