The Vernon County Board adopted Resolution 2025-71 to continue participation in the County Conservation Aids program and to authorize county staff to apply for and expend state funds to improve fish and wildlife habitat.
County Conservationist David Hettenbach told the board the program operates on an acreage allocation basis and requires county matching; the resolution authorizes the Land and Water County Conservationist to apply for funds and expend appropriated monies under s.23.09(12) of the Wisconsin Statutes. The resolution was adopted by voice vote.
