Glenn Heights schedules joint meeting July 14; staff to deliver map recommendations by July 7

At the close of the discussion, council and the Planning & Zoning Commission asked staff to prepare a packet that lists parcels that have already changed through PDs and parcels with redevelopment potential so that the two maps can be aligned.
Mayor Brown stated the timeline: staff will deliver materials for review by July 7 and the bodies will hold a joint meeting on July 14 to decide whether and how to amend the future land use plan and/or the zoning ordinance. Staff noted required public-notice steps (newspaper notice for text amendments; property-owner notices when applicable) and said the targeted approach would focus on undeveloped parcels with potential for change.
