Board postpones decision on WDNR municipal dam grant application pending final numbers

Presenter Nick Gilman asked the board to delay action until the October meeting so the figures can be finalized.
Gilman told the board, "The final numbers are not available, and I am recommending the resolution be postponed and brought back to the Board next month." A motion by Supervisor Lawler, seconded by Supervisor Slack, to postpone the resolution was adopted by voice vote. The postponement leaves open county participation pending receipt of final budget and grant-match details.
The board did not adopt a substantive grant commitment at the Sept. 18 meeting; staff will return with completed numbers and recommendations in October.
