The Board adopted Resolution 2026-07 on Jan. 20 to reprogram $33,767.26 of Ho-Chunk project funds to cover increased installation costs for generator projects at Vernon Manor and Vernon Acres. Highway Commissioner Hewitt presented the engineer-reviewed changes and explained that updated electrical code requirements raised installation costs.
The resolution directs use of Ho-Chunk funds held in Fund 88 to cover the increased cost. Supervisor Stanek moved the adoption and Supervisor Jacobson seconded; the motion passed on a voice vote with all present voting in favor.
